About Me
I've been volunteering at community radio stations since I ran away from home at 17, starting with KPFK (what a place to start!). Stations include: KCRW, KAZU, KUSP, KUNM. Worked the News Dept. and produced documentaries for KUNM for the past, 4 years.
My Groups:Favorite Shows: My favorite shows are the ones where I can TASTE the producers' hard work, commitment and investment in community buildiing. If I didn't learn something, if I wasn't challenged or moved, it wasn't my favorite.
Influences: A LOT of colleagues gave me tips, advice, skills, introductions, equipment, money, food, chewings out and even bandwidth in order for me to become a producer without a formal education. Volunteering in community radio and alternative media are my thing. O
