KZMU Moab Community Radio

StationAccount image

KZMU is a noncommercial, grassroots radio station located in the heart of Moab, Utah. We are independent, live, local media whose mission is to engage, inform, entertain, empower, and connect the communities of Southeastern Utah. Because almost all of our programming is locally originated, it takes a dedicated, eclectic group of volunteer DJs – along with part-time staff – to keep music and news flowing over our airwaves. In a world of radio that is overwhelmingly corporate, impersonal, over-commercialized and unimaginative, we at KZMU are proud to open our doors, empower an engaged community, encourage authentic personality, and hear the spice of life through story and song. Our call letters say it all, “Krank Zee Music Up!”
