  • Will PRX charge stations an additional fee (beyond carriage fees) to receive This American Life?
    No, stations won't pay an additional fee to get automated delivery. They will only pay the series carriage fees.

  • We aren't station members of PRX. Do we need a current PRX membership to get This American Life?
    No. Membership is not required. You only need a station account on PRX but do not need to have a current membership/point package to get the show. There are no affiliation fees for PRX.

  • How do we get episodes?
    PRX offers three kinds of delivery – 1) we can push the files to your station, 2) you can pull the files from our servers, and 3) you can always manually download from PRX.

  • How do I setup my subscription

  • Will I receive rundowns, promo copy and content advisories for This American Life?
    Yes. You will receive weekly rundowns every Friday. Promo copy for the following week's show will also go out every Friday. If an episode contains sensitive material, you will receive a content advisory.

  • When will the promos be available?
    Friday of each week, two promos become available: "This Week" and "Later today".

  • What is the air window?
    Friday until two Sundays later (9 days total).

  • Are generic promos and an evergreen episode available?
    Yes. They can be downloaded on PRX.org.
