Shared Weight

Eight Americans journeyed with host Marc Steiner to Vietnam thirty years after the fall of Saigon. Among them were three Vietnam Veterans, Wayne Karlin, writer and anthologist of the war, Woody Curry, director of a drug treatment center in Baltimore, and George Evans, a poet from the Bay Area. Also along with marc and the veterans were George's wife, Daisy Zamora, a Nicaraguan poet and veteran Sandanista of the contra wars in Central America, activist and associate producer of the series, Valerie Williams, soundman, Neelon Crawford, and videographer and producer, Steve Elliot.
