The Bear 91.3, KUCA-FM

The Bear 91.3, KUCA-FM is the University of Central Arkansas's Student Government Association sponsored (non-commercial) radio station located inside of the Ronnie Williams Student Center in the heart of the UCA campus. KUCA opened a brand new studio in July 2023, and with it changed up the format and some programming as well. KUCA now features an expanded music library spanning the 80s, 90s, early 2000s, with the hits of today in rotation as well. KUCA offers all UCA students the opportunity to produce and air their own radio show each semester, and also allows students the unique opportunity to use the station’s recording studio to record and distribute their own podcasts as well. KUCA continues to produce and air UCA athletics events from UCA Football, to UCA Men’s & Women’s Basketball, to UCA Baseball. KUCA also began streaming full time in the Fall of 2022 on their own website along with being featured on both of the TuneIn and AppleMusic apps.
