WDVX is a listener supported radio station that plays a mix of Americana, Appalachian, alt-country, singer-songwriter, bluegrass, blues, and tunes from the many talented musicans who call East Tennessee home. WDVX produces The Blue Plate Special, an hour long live music radio show that originates from the performance stage at the Knoxville Visitor Center every noon, Monday through Saturday. Both audience members and musicians come from all over the world to be part of the Blue Plate Special.
