The first version of this piece uploaded to PRX contained an embarrassing error. I wrote that Tony Seahorn arrived in Vietnam thirty years ago. Of course, it was actually 40 years ago -- 1968. The bad math went into the script during the editing process. I work in a four-person newsroom on intense deadline, and the editing process is often frantic. My apologies to listeners for the bad math. I have corrected the error and am uploading a corrected version of the story.
