Review of The Office

This dramatic piece captures the anatomy of gossip. It appears even when your out of highschool the rumors and lies continue to fly and be exaggerated. This amusing story is put together well, however the end music could be shorter. Enjoy.

Review of Thrift Town

Lauryn and her friend Emily, would rather shop at Thrift town then Abercrombie and fitch or Hollister. Listen to this interesting piece recorded in Thrift Town on one of the girls regular shopping trips. This is a great experimental piece like nothing I've heard before. Its just as unique as the clothes Lauryn and Emily like to wear. Here they are in "Thrift Town".

Review of Friday Night At Epiphany's

Are you the type of person who only listens to one type of music? Well if you are, listen to Claudia Villa explain her first experience in the hardcore/metal music scene. From Scene kids to straightedge this segment gives you a peek into the music lives of others. Claudia is brave enough to adventure from her regular gangsta rap to Metal. This piece is one of the best on music I have heard in the late. The mix of commentary, interview, and radio diary is great and the backround music is nicely mixed in. Have fun.

Review of The Cigarette Bath

Cigarettes, such a small thing, that can kill you. Emily LaFond tells a story about her family and smoking and how the mistakes of adults can easily become the mistakes of their children. This fictional story is very discriptive and written from the point of veiw of a an impressionable girl. Enjoy!

Review of And, How Does That Make You Feel?

This fictional piece really brings out the reality in suicide. Many people do not realize how real and common it is. "And, how does that make you feel" is a both touching and frightning story, that has a great cadence. Listen up.

Review of Alan Wolf

This interview with Alan Wolf is about something bigger then just opposing war. Its about the heart and soul of the peace movement. When people come together and believe in something a difference can be made. Sub-consiously most people know this, so why aren't more people rallying and protesting this war? Where is the belief?
This piece made me realize that more needs to be done to stop this war. And the action can start with me. Alan Wolfs strong belief in peace is touching and inspiring. It reinforces the thought that you dont have to have lost anyone in this war to make a stand for peace, you can just mobalize your beliefs and commit to peace. This piece is beautifully put together, and has real meaning. I look foward to hearing more from Lena Eckert-Erdheim.

Review of Birds (deleted)

Webster describes birds as warm blooded vertibrae. However, Lauren Everton has a very different defintion. In this amusing piece Lauren describes her fear of birds. Laurens performance is very dramatic, in a funny way. With that said, enjoy.

A short take on how myspace invades the everyday lives of cyber addicts. From the computer screen to the movie theater, will life ever be the same? This piece is funny and thoughtfull, but it feels as though somebody started it and never finished it. Much could be added to the abrupt ending. How else does myspace effect our everyday lives? Thats what I'm left with as the Piece ends.

Review of Dumpster Diving

Have you ever heard of dumpster diving? Or freeganism? In this humorous piece Rebecca Barker interviews Connor Huntington about the art of turning trash into treasure. Connor is a freegan, he lives by the motto; buy less make more and dive for the rest. This mixture of a commentary and interview is abrupt and jumps around, but that doesn?t ruin the overall experience of exploring the other side of your trash.

Review of We Are Lane One

Do you not enjoy doing things your not the best at? Sports, for instance? If so, maybe its time you listen to Emily LaFond?s story about how her fear of not being the best was obliterated. I completely related to this story, I don?t play sports because I?m not good at them. This piece helped me realize that. Emily LaFond?s honesty made ?We Are Lane One? fun to listen to, I was captivated through the whole thing. However, some bed music would have made the piece flow a bit smoother. Overall this piece is great it makes you take a look at yourself and tells a great story.
