Segments feature content from county history museums along with the personal recollections of local people. Recent immigrants' stories will be featured, along with remembrances of traditional northwest Minnesota activities like farming, hunting, fishing, hockey, and snowmobiling.

Vintage audio recordings by northwest Minnesota musical acts are featured in a 55-minute weekly broadcast hosted by Thief River Falls music store owner Joe Kezar. A majority of these recordings, dating as far back as the 1960s, were made locally and have never been heard publicly. Some episodes feature interviews with local musicians.
