KRZA Radio is a connecting force in its service communities. It is respected for the integrity of its programming and its relationships with its volunteers and others, and for its continued independence from larger media organizations. The station is committed to the needs and interests of the communities it serves, and to making radio a regionally relevant and truly participatory communications medium. KRZA works for diversity in its programming, volunteers, and listeners, and is valued for its commitment to equal representation in the media, and to being a “voice for the voiceless.” Ongoing professional development and training programs for staff and volunteers and an organizational culture centered on serving the community, ensure that KRZA maintains its relevance to the listening audience.
