Listen To This! With Dr. J is a program of great music in the classical tradition. We bring you great works of western art music, some ancient and some brand-spanking new, contextualized with stories about the creators, anecdotes from the performers, uncommon thematic links between pieces, and a small amount of history and theory (but not too much!), leavened with humor and a personable host. Host Josh Nannestad is a music education professor, a lover of all styles of music, and a longtime public radio enthusiast.
