Sociologists at Washington University in St. Louis share a common passion - understanding and overcoming inequality.

Decades after the original sociology department at Washington University closed, in 2015 Arts & Sciences announced the reestablishment of the department. Over the next few years, talented sociologists were recruited to spearhead the new effort. The scholars have different backgrounds and areas of expertise, but they all share a dedication to understanding and overcoming inequality. In this series, hear what they and other scholars studying inequality have to say.
