Here's The Thing with Alec Baldwin

In his new radio series, Here’s the Thing, award-winning actor Alec Baldwin gives the listener unique entrée into the lives of some of today’s most exciting performers. Baldwin sidesteps the predictable by taking listeners inside the dressing rooms, apartments, and offices of some of the leading creative personalities of our time, including David Letterman, Billy Joel, Chris Rock, Kristin Wiig, Lena Dunham and Thom Yorke.

Employing an engaging mixture of curiosity, intelligence and warmth, Baldwin explores what motivates his guests, how they feel about what they do, and what keeps them up at night.

Here's The Thing has its roots in public radio. In 2009, Alec joined with producers Lu Olkowski, Trey Kay, Kathie Russo, and Emily Botein to find fresh ways to engage in conversation on the radio. The group developed the idea of a new show that at its heart would look at what makes interesting people tick and create a platform for new and emerging ideas to be presented.

BROADCAST RIGHTS

Season Two - Stations must air the 10 episodes of Season Two in the order provided. The Seinfeld hour is available free of charge as an 11th episode. It must be broadcast as the 11th hour at the end of your HTT Season Two run. No cherry picking is allowed. Stations may re-broadcast the series an unlimited number of times through February 16, 2014.

Season One Encore – Stations must air these 5 episodes in the order provided. No cherry picking is allowed. The series may be re-broadcast an unlimited number of times through February 16, 2014.

Fees:

Season Two: 11 new shows: Carriage fees are 2950 total PRX points (295 points per show) for the 10 new Fall 2013 programs. Stations airing the series may broadcast the Seinfeld hour free of charge.

Fall 2012 encore: If you already aired Season One (first released in fall 2012), you get those five programs for zero PRX points.

Fall 2012 – first play: If you have not previously aired the Fall 2012 series, you’ll get it at a 50% discount: 738 PRX points.
