A series of short essays on global ocean topics by Peter Neill, Director of the World Ocean Observatory

World Ocean Radio, a project of the World Ocean Observatory, is a series of five minute audio essays on a wide range of ocean issues.

The World Ocean Observatory is an on-line place of exchange for information and educational services about the ocean defined as "an integrated global social system," thereby relating the ocean to fresh water, food, energy, public health, trade, transportation, international finance, tourism, governance, culture and community development worldwide. W2O includes resources of the Cultural and Physical Ocean; a Directory of 18,500 ocean organizations; the World Ocean Forum to include a monthly letter on ocean issues, a daily posted international news digest, on-line exhibits, and media; and the World Ocean Classroom, listing educational resources for students, teachers, home schoolers, and general inquiry.
