Singer/songwriter Bob Cheevers grew up with R&B Roots in Memphis, Tennessee and his mother was a 1920's and 30's radio star. In the 1960's, Bob moved to Los Angeles, California, and was discovered by a producer in Hollywood. After success in the 60's as a pop singer/songwriter, and performer, Bob became disillusioned with big labels, and chasing hits. He moved to Nashville as a journeyman songwriter, covering lot's of artistic ground with Austin, Texas as his home. After moving to Ausin, he was acknowledged with the Texas Music Award Singer/songwriter of the year, and is an emmy winning songwriter who was a showopener on Johnny Cash's final tour. He now tours extensively in Europe and the USA, makes Austin, Texas his home and continues to record extensively with many records to his credit, including a 50 year's Collection of his songs. In 2019, he underwent major back and hand surgery, but has released a new record of songs he wrote during recovery, as well as taken back to the road in Europe.
