About Me

I am an independent radio programmer and have been creating several series of programs for PRX since 2006... "The Stone Age" explores electric music as it changed from mainstream Pop to music with authentic lyrics, and electricity in the 60's and 70's...It was a weekly part of the schedule on KHSU-FM beginning in 2004. 'The Hayride' is a variety roots music program that originally was aired on KHSU-FM in Arcata, CA as well...There is a series with one hour programs, and another with two hour 'Hayride' shows...New Electric Music For The Twenty-First Century is a two hour program series of new Sound, often electric and influential music from the 20th Century...A series devoted to original music...designed with the idea of producing and presenting dynamic Sound not often heard before...Added to my PRX Series Profile is 'Renaissance Fables For The World'...an exploration of short recitations of renaissance literature... My creative aim is to provide programs that archive and present the very best in their genres with an emphasis on announcing that is not overly verbalized...All audiences can tune in to listen to programs that highlight exciting and audacious music and literature. These programs are designed for everyone to enjoy.
